What Are the Easy Christmas Crafts For You?

Christmas is a great opportunity to dedicate time to crafting activities. Either you are passionate about crafts or you simply want to have some original decoration items for this winter season, there are plenty of ideas you can put into practice. For those who are not that proficient and familiar with handwork, here are some easy Christmas crafts they can start with:

o Create cotton angels to decorate the Christmas tree. With a ball of cotton, two small sparkling beads glued on it, some lace to turn into wigs and a golden thread displayed around the cotton ball, you can make wonderful little angels to guard you from the tree sprigs all the Holidays season long.

o With some easy Christmas crafts you can make even decoration items looking like the ones you see in the shops. For instance, a snowman into a glass ball is very easy to craft. Take three balls of styrofoam and glue them together into the shape of a snowman. Then tailor a head cap for him and draw on it buttons, eyes and mouth and attach a small horn of orange felt as the nose. Look for a round glass pot, sprinkle a layer of artificial snow inside, at the bottom, and introduce the snowman inside. By night, you can turn it into a lighting decoration by displaying next to it a candle or some Christmas lights.

o Santa Claus is the main character of the Christmas and we would not fully enjoy the Holidays if he was not around. There are many easy Christmas crafts allowing you to make Santas. Here is one of them: take a plastic red glass and reverse it. Glue on the top one styrofoam ball as the Santa's head. Tailor his hat of red felt and garnish it with some cotton. Make also his beard of cotton and outline his face drawing eyes, mouth and nose.

o If you want to welcome your guests this season with a "Merry Christmas" message, make door-hanging items through easy Christmas crafts. Take a scrap of white felt and one of red felt and cut from them the letters for the message. Then, glue them on a piece of plywood by combining the red letters with the white ones. To embellish the door-hanging item you have just made, glue on it also some tree sprigs, attach some lace or ribbon, bells to jingle each time the door is open or closed, and sprinkle some artificial snow. Seeing this message so beautifully displayed will cheer up your guests from the moment they step into your home.

o This year, the trend in Christmas decorations is the golden color, but none of yours are like this? Do not worry a bit, there are many easy Christmas crafts that will help you update your decorations upon the last trends. With some small beads and spangles you can change the look of each Christmas ball you have. Cover the surface of the ball with glue and then slosh it in a layer of beads and spangles. Let it dry and then hang it on the Christmas tree.

From decorations for the trees and the home to gifts and cards, there is almost nothing that we can not create with our own hands for the Winter Holidays Season. For an original touch, for some relaxation and entertainment go for these easy Christmas crafts whenever you have time available.
